Frequently Asked Questions

Elysium outdoor kitchens start at $40,000 for the Avalon collection and go to $120,000 for our signature Elysium build. Every price is all-inclusive — design, permits, materials, appliances, and all labor. There are no contractor fees, electrician fees, or permit surprises added after signing.
Yes. Any outdoor kitchen with gas connections, electrical work, or plumbing requires a building permit in virtually every South Florida municipality. HOA communities require additional architectural review submissions. Elysium handles every permit application and HOA submission as part of our standard process — you don't make a single call to the county.
In Florida, the terms are used interchangeably. Both refer to a fully equipped outdoor cooking and entertaining space. Whether it's a simple grill station or a full estate kitchen with pizza oven, wine fridge, and integrated audio, it's the same permit category in most South Florida municipalities.
Most projects run twelve to sixteen weeks from signed contract to final walkthrough. The largest variable is permitting — municipal timelines vary and HOA reviews can take several weeks. We account for this in every project schedule and manage it entirely on our end.
Yes. One signed contract, one price. Design, permits, engineering if required, all trades (electrical, plumbing, gas), structure, stone, appliances, lighting, and final inspection. The only items not included are changes you request after the contract is signed — and those are priced transparently before work begins.
No. Elysium serves as the single point of accountability for your entire project. We manage every subcontract trade — electrician, plumber, gas technician — and are licensed and insured to do so. You do not need to source, hire, or manage any contractor other than us.
Yes. We've successfully submitted to HOAs across Palm Beach and Broward County. Our submission packages include architectural drawings, material specifications, engineering documentation where required, and a letter of intent. If revisions are requested, we handle them. We have never had a project permanently rejected by an HOA.
Yes, within reason. We have preferred brands for each tier — Blaze and Summerset for Avalon, DCS by Fisher & Paykel for Olympus, Lynx Professional for Elysium — because we've vetted them for durability in South Florida's climate and have established warranty relationships. If you have a specific preference, we'll discuss it during design and advise honestly on whether it's the right choice for your project.
We work with quartz, quartzite, poured concrete, and — for our Elysium tier — Calacatta marble. Each material has different characteristics for Florida's heat, UV, and humidity. We'll walk you through every option with honest pros and cons before you decide. See our Materials page for full details.
Every Elysium project carries a two-year craftsman warranty on all labor. Appliances carry manufacturer warranties, which we register on your behalf at project completion. All warranty documentation is included in your project packet at final walkthrough.
We serve all of Palm Beach and Broward County: Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Jupiter, Highland Beach, Pompano Beach, Lighthouse Point, Deerfield Beach, Coral Springs, Parkland, Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Davie, Plantation, Hollywood, Hallandale Beach, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, and Southwest Ranches.
Yes. We have an active portfolio and, for serious inquiries, we can arrange for you to speak directly with past clients. Our best references are homeowners who've referred their neighbors — many of whom became clients themselves.
We partner with Pergolux Outdoor of Boca Raton for all pergola, solid roof, and enclosure structures. They're South Florida's leading outdoor structure specialists, and we've worked alongside their team extensively. When a shelter is part of your project, Pergolux handles the structure while Elysium handles everything inside it — coordinated as a single permitted scope. One project. Two expert teams. No gaps.
